At SkillSource TD, we reduce risk factors for youth entering the child welfare and juvenile justice systems by strengthening families, empowering parents, and equipping professionals with practical tools and support.
Parent Engagement & Education
We provide trusted, evidence‑based programs such as 24:7 Dad®, The Parent Project®, and Nurturing Parenting Programs®, along with court‑approved co‑parenting seminars and parent coaching. Our services are designed for custodial and non‑custodial parents, caregivers, and mentors, as well as those rebuilding relationships with their children. No matter where families are on their journey, our workshops and coaching help foster resilience, reduce risk factors, and strengthen protective factors.
Workforce Development
Our youth-focused workforce development programs equip young people with the skills, confidence, and competencies needed to navigate education, employment, and career pathways. By integrating career readiness, essential workplace skills, and social-emotional learning (SEL), we help youth build self-awareness, strengthen decision-making, develop healthy relationships, and prepare for long-term success. We are especially committed to reaching youth and young adults facing significant barriers to opportunity, including those ages 16–24 who are neither enrolled in school nor employed. Our goal is to empower young people, expand access to meaningful opportunities, and support successful transitions into adulthood.
Professional Development
We strengthen the skills of professionals who work directly with youth and families. Through tailored workshops, in‑service training, and continuing education opportunities, we equip practitioners with the tools to create lasting positive change and effectively support those they serve.
